Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Private Cook for an Emirati family household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals in accordance with family preferences, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and supporting the household with meal planning and kitchen organization. Discretion, consistency, and respect for local culture are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Cooking & Meal Preparation
Prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) as per family requirements
Cook Arabic/Emirati cuisine and international dishes as required
Handle special dietary needs (low salt, diabetic-friendly, etc.) if requested
Ensure meals are fresh, nutritious, and well-presented
Kitchen Management
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and appliances
Store food items properly and monitor ingredient freshness
Plan menus in consultation with the family
Assist with grocery lists and kitchen inventory
Household Coordination
Coordinate with household staff when required
Follow family schedules and meal timings strictly
Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience as a private cook or household cook (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
Good knowledge of Emirati & Middle Eastern cuisine (mandatory)
Ability to cook continental or Asian dishes is an advantage
Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Physically fit and able to manage kitchen duties efficiently
Trustworthy, well-mannered, and respectful of family privacy
Language:
Basic Arabic preferred
English (basic communication required)
Working Hours:
As per household schedule (flexibility required)
Weekly off as agreed
